On Fri, 25 July 2025, FijiBatt, deployed with the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) in the Golan Heights, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Fiji Navy. The day began with a Remembrance Service at the Fiji Batt Memorial site in Camp Ziouani.

The Commander of the Day, Ordinary Seawoman (OS) Kelera Tokatokavanu, accompanied the Chief Guest, Commanding Officer (CO) of Fiji Batt, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Isireli Dugu, for the solemn wreath-laying ceremony. The catafalque party was led by Petty Officer (PO) E. Bale. The party included OS A. Prakash, OS N. Waqavou, OS S. Moli, and OS T. Goneva, with the flag bearer role performed by PO E. Batisaresare. Following the morning’s commemorative events, a special lunch was prepared for the distinguished guests and members of Fiji Batt 12.
