A contingent of 143 personnel from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) departed Fiji for a 12-month deployment to the Golan Heights under the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) mission.

This mission underscores Fiji’s enduring commitment to global peacekeeping and its active role in supporting international peace and security under the United Nations mandate. The deployed personnel will not only contribute to maintaining regional stability but also serve as proud ambassadors of Fiji on the global stage.
