April 22, 2024The Republic of Fiji Military Forces 1/24 Grade 3 Staff Officerโs and Tactics Course commenced today (22 April, 2024) at the Officer Training School in Vatuwaqa which was officiated by the Chief of Staff, Land Force Command, Colonel (Col) Viliame Draunibaka.
While delivering his opening address, Col. Draunibaka mentioned that this course represents a key opportunity where the participants can enhance their skills, deepen their knowledge and refine their tactics in the ever-changing landscape of modern warfare.
โIn an era defined by uncertainty and complexity, it is imperative that we remain at the forefront of military excellence, prepared to confront any challenge that may arise.โ Col. Draunibaka said.
Col Draunibaka also mentioned the importance of leadership, integrity and resilience as military officers while commanding troops on the battlefield, while also leading by example and always upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Col Draunibaka also thanked the Foreign Military Colleagues, the Australian Defence Forces, the NZ Defence Force and His Majestyโs Armed Forces (Tonga) for joining this esteemed Staff Officerโs and Tactics Course.
A total of 14 officers have commenced the course: 11 Officers from the RFMF, 1 from the ADF, 1 from the NZDF and 1 from HMAF.
