The Republic of Fiji Military Forces’ Directorate of Finance, Logistics and Acquisition marked the end of the 2024โ2025 Financial Year with a morning of fellowship and reflection, beginning with sporting and team-bonding activities at Albert Park in the early morning of Friday, 1 August 2025.
This was followed by a midday Thanksgiving Church Service at the RFMF Chapel, led by Force Chaplain Reverend Major Viliame Tunidau, who based his sermon on Luke 16:10 โ โ๐๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ค๐ข๐ฏ ๐ฃ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ณ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ ๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐ต๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ค๐ข๐ฏ ๐ข๐ญ๐ด๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ณ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ค๐ฉ, ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ช๐ด ๐ฅ๐ช๐ด๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด๐ต ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐ต๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ ๐ข๐ญ๐ด๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ช๐ด๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด๐ต ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ค๐ฉ.โ
The occasion also commemorated one year since the opening of the Joint Logistics Command (JLC) Warehouse and the establishment of its temporary headquarters at Amra Court, Walu Bay.
The event concluded with a luncheon, during which Director FLAโCAPT (Navy) Vaniqi delivered an appreciation address, commending the team for their steadfast service and encouraging them to โembrace change and continue doing what is right for the institution even when no one is watching.โ
The celebration not only recognised the past yearโs milestones but also reaffirmed the JLCโs enduring mission in support of the RFMFโs strategic objectives in the new 2025โ2026 financial year.
