April 2, 2025Seventeen warrant officers and senior sailors from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Naval Division successfully completed the week-long Veiliutaki Framework Lead Self Course conducted at the Fiji Learning Institute for Public Service in Nasese yesterday, 28 March, 2025.
Commander of the Naval Division, Captain (Navy) Timoci Natuva, officiated the closing ceremony. In his address, Capt (Navy) Natuva emphasized the importance of applying the training beyond the classroom, noting that stepping out of one’s comfort zone is a crucial element of self-leadership. He stated that while navigating the challenges as a leader, it remains crucial to maintain a standard of resilience and steadfastness.
In addition to this, Capt (Navy) Natuva also noted that since many of the participants are in charge of small units within the Naval Division; it is imperative to gain strength and mutual support from each other to improve the overall effectiveness of the entire division.
In conclusion, Capt (Navy) Natuva congratulated the participants on their successful completion of the course.
