𝗥𝗙𝗠𝗙 𝗕𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗚𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗔’𝗦

The Commander Republic of Fiji Military Forces Major General Jone Kalouniwai yesterday (Tuesday 14 December) bid farewell to the Australian Defence Advisor Colonel Robert Haertsch and the Indonesian Defence Attaché Colonel Efran Gunawan at the RFMF Strategic Headquarters in Berkley Crescent.

Major General Kalouniwai acknowledged the outstanding performance of both Senior Officers during their term in Fiji and expressed appreciation for their efforts and contributions towards the longstanding friendship between both armed forces and wished them the best in their future endeavours.

Both the DA’s expressed their gratitude for the co-operation and goodwill extended during their tenure. Though the Covid 19 pandemic caused uncertainty, this did not affect the military to military co-operations.

The two DA’s were presented memento gifts by the Commander RFMF as a token of appreciation. Colonel Haertsch served for two years’ while Colonel Gunawan served for three years.

Also in attendance were the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand Defence Advisors and Senior Officers of the RFMF.
