Team Building Training

  • Team Building Training

The Force Training Group (FTG) in conjunction with its primary role in the RFMF setup, has also participated in the facilitaion of training to some external organization both in the private and public sectors. Apart from the more obvious School Cadet Training, FTG had also been providing Team Building Training.

Team Building is basically the establishment of a group of people working towards a common goal. The goal of all Team Building Training is to improve the awareness, understanding, knowledge and skill of team members by coping with change; accepting responsibility; functioning of team; achieving personal improvement.

Some of the organizations that have undergone such training are:

    1. Fosters Group Pacific Ltd

    2. Post and Telecom Support Services

    3. Latter Day Saints Youth

    4. Vodafone Fiji Limited (Corporate Sales)

    5. Denarau Island Resort

    6. Hilton Hotel

    7. Fiji Bati Rugby League Team to the 2009 World Cup and also

    8. Flying Fijians prior to the 2007 World Cup

These are just some of the few notable institutions/teams that have undergone Team Building Training in the Force Training Group and their success in their respective fields is testament of how vital team building training can be.

    Leadership Training

Another type of training which FTG provides externally is Leadership Training. Some prominent Primary and Secondary Schools including a few Tertiary Institutions (FSN just recently) have come through FTG to undertake this particular training. Feedback of the outcome of their visit have always been positive.

As mentioned above, Cadet Training is one common external tasking that FTG engages itself in, however the training now does not only apply to secondary schools but has been introduced recently to primary schools as well.

All in all, upon approval from HQ RFMF, the Force Training Group will gladly continue to facilitate responsibility outside its scope of tasks in order to meet the design of the ‘bigger picture’ that our hierarchy intends to showcase.
